your rod and your staff, they comfort me.
The shepherd had a staff to keep the sheep safe - to use as a weapon against any wild animals that may attack, The staff was there to guide the sheep - finding the best places to eat and rest. I wonder if you can think of when God has kept you safe or guided you somewhere?
